Did you know that 1 in 4 women experience violence from a spouse or boyfriend in their lifetime? Seven million children live in homes where severe partner violence occurs. Approximately 500 women in the United States are raped or sexually assaulted every single day. Those are staggering statistics. The good news is that you can help!

Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Crisis Center of Warren County is helping adults and children who suffer from abuse. Their mission statement is to:

  • Support and empower those who are affected by domestic violence and sexual assault

  • To develop a community where there is no acceptance or tolerance for either

This agency provides help for anyone who identifies themselves as a victim regardless of race, color, ,national origin, gender, religion, age or disabilities. Their services include 24 hour emergency hotline, shelter, Domestic violence and sexual assault response teams, support groups, individual counseling, transitional housing, support for significant others, youth and teen programs, legal advocacy, outreach program, case management, information and referrals, safety planning and community education programs.
