The mission of the SPCA of Westchester is to provide shelter service and is recognized as a “no-kill shelter”. The SPCA never euthanizes an animal except in cases of terminal illness. The SPCA is the only shelter authorized by New York State to enforce the laws as they relate to animal cruelty in Westchester.
The mission of St. Vincent de Paul High School is to educate students through a college preparatory curriculum that develops their spiritual, academic, and social potential. As a Catholic school, we teach Gospel values and ideals and provide opportunities for our students to experience and grow in their faith. Our goal is for students to become compassionate, responsible and active members of their communities.
Standardbred Retirement Foundation provides humane care and services for horses in need of lifetime homes, and in crisis, through rehabilitation, training, adoption, lifelong follow-up, or lifetime sanctuary; and offers therapeutic equine opportunities for children, and adults.
The Strategic Business Institute (SBI) was started in early 2002, and received its nonprofit status as a nonprofit public charity in 2004. SBI’s design/model has been dynamic; starting with an educational format in the area of business development and business networking.
