Mission
Holy Resurrection Monastery is a community of men who are convinced that the authentic spiritual tradition of the Christian East has much to offer a Church—and indeed a world—suffering from pain, hostility, division and fear. In the light of that conviction we strive to pray, fast and feast according to the customs of our tradition, so rich in beauty, sharing the fruits of this spiritual labor with our guests and people who make retreats with us, opening our home to all people of good will regardless of denomination, faith or rite. In service to this mission we believe we also contribute to the New Evangelization of the world, the restoration of Eastern Catholic monasticism and the healing of divisions among Christians, especially between the Catholic and Orthodox Churches.
