The primary mission of the Academy of Music Northwest is to be the premier Pacific Northwest music school for talented pre-college musicians. The Academy of Music Northwest is a private, nonprofit (501.c.3), part-time school, chartered to prepare and deliver the next generation of leaders and achievers in music. The quality of its faculty (Dept Chairs, classroom teachers, chamber music coaches, chamber music orchestra director, and superb private instrumental teachers), its programs, performances, and results – all attest to its qualifications, dedication, and success.
ARC (Activities for Retarded Children) promotes the welfare, protection, education, and advancement of mentally retarded individuals. We provide educational and therapeutic recreation designed to increase the ability and potential of retarded children, and implement a regimen of activities to help achieve his/her full potential for mental, emotional, physical and spiritual development.
The mission of the Alabama Council of the Blind is to promote educational and employment opportunities for all blind and visually impaired citizens of Alabama, and to promote awareness of the need for access to public accommodations. The council strives to improve the well being of all blind and visually impaired people by serving as a representative state organization cooperating with public and private institutions. Alabama Council of the Blind encourages and assists blind people to develop their abilities because we believe that visually impaired persons can contribute to society and lead productive independent lives with dignity.
The mission of Aldea Children & Family Services is to improve lives and create bright futures for people we serve by providing professional mental health, child welfare and support services in a manner that respects the dignity and individuality of each person.
