The Nation's Missing Children Organization, Inc. & Center for Missing Adults (NMCO) was founded in 1994 by Kym Pasqualini. As a child, Kym narrowly escaped being abducted by a knife-wielding stranger. Kym was moved to action after witnessing the aftermath of an abduction and the continued suffering of the victim's family. NMCO is a publicly supported nonprofit organization founded to educate the public in an effort to prevent future abductions and to provide assistance to the families of abduction victims. NMCO works with cases of endangered missing persons, unsolved homicides and unidentified persons. NMCO concentrates on maintaining public awareness through distribution of photographs and information regarding missing persons and work with law enforcement agencies and other organizations nationwide.
