Donate a Vehicle to Mercer Island Youth and Family Services

Mercer Island Youth and Family Services (MIYFS) is a family and community service agency collaborating with groups and individuals to develop and deliver services to the Mercer Island community. Our services span generations and have expanded over the years to address specific community human service needs. We help individuals, families and the community at large to build upon strengths, identify problems and choices, and share resources. Services are supported as a public/private partnership through the City of Mercer Island, the Mercer Island School District, King County, private contributions and grants, fundraising and special events and revenues generated by our volunteer-based Thrift Shop. Our services include: individual and family counseling; senior adult outreach; elementary, middle school and high school counseling; alcohol and drug prevention and intervention services for youth; juvenile court diversion services; family assistance and support; JobLink; youth employment services; volunteering; advocacy and community planning. MIYFS also contracts with area service providers to deliver specialized sexual assault, domestic violence, and legal resource services.

The Mercer Island Youth and Family Services has partnered with The Vehicle Donation Processing Center, Inc. in the operation of our vehicle donation program. The Vehicle Donation Processing Center, Inc. allows The Mercer Island Youth and Family Servicesto be able to benefit from vehicular donations, and offers this service to you.

When a donation is pledged, the Vehicle Donation Processing Center, Inc., takes the donor information over the telephone, handles all the documents, vehicle pick up, sale at auction and distribution of proceeds to The Mercer Island Youth and Family Services. The Vehicle Donation Processing Center guarantees payment of all expenses in administering the program for Mercer Island Youth and Family Services. Every month, net proceeds are split evenly between the Vehicle Donation Processing Center, Inc. and Mercer Island Youth and Family Services.
