The El Camino Youth Symphony (ECYS), a non-profit organization based in Palo Alto, California, is celebrating its fortieth anniversary this season. Over the past thirty-nine years, ECYS has served thousands of local students and families by providing instrumental training and education programs for young musicians, ages 6-18. ECYS sponsors nine ensembles, which rehearse weekly and perform regularly. ECYS also sponsors summer workshops in chamber music and orchestral playing and participates in outreach programs designed to bring music to the community. Scholarships are provided for students with financial need.

When a donation is pledged, the Vehicle Donation Processing Center, takes the donor information over the telephone, handles all the documents, vehicle pick up, sale at auction and distribution of proceeds to The El Camino Youth Symphony. The Vehicle Donation Processing Center guarantees payment of all expenses in administering the program for El Camino Youth Symphony. Every month, net proceeds are split evenly between the Vehicle Donation Processing Center and El Camino Youth Symphony.
