The 40-mile stretch of the Colorado River between Needles, California and Lake Havasu, Arizona is some of the most beautiful and pristine water on the entire river. As recreational use has increased, the greatest source of pollution to this area is people! People using these waterways sometimes get careless, leaving trash on the shores and floating in the river! Our mission is to educate people about keeping our river clean and to seek their help in cleaning up what others may have left behind. One way we do this is by handing out trash bags to boaters.

When a donation is pledged, the Vehicle Donation Processing Center, Inc., takes the donor information over the telephone, handles all the documents, vehicle pick up, sale at auction and distribution of proceeds to Defending Our Wild Life. The Vehicle Donation Processing Center guarantees payment of all expenses in administering the program for Defending Our Wild Life. Every month, net proceeds are split evenly between the Vehicle Donation Processing Center, Inc. and Defending Our Wild Life.
