The Cerebral Palsy Center for the Bay Area offers a broad range of services and programs to adults with disabilities. The CP Center offers educational programs in a supportive environment that encourages self-determination and enhances the capacity for independent living. Receiving adequate financial support is vital to the continuation of our programs. Devastating cuts in state and federal funding and the severe drop in our economy make support from our family of friends more important than ever. Your gifts create very real, concrete results. You are providing adults with disabilities the opportunity to better themselves through their own efforts, and you can rest assured that nearly 90% of our funds are spent directly on participant programs. Do you have an automobile sitting in your driveway that you no longer need? Maybe it's an old gas guzzler that you're tired of paying registration and insurance costs on, but don't want to go through the hassle of selling. If you donate it to the CP Center, it's a "win-win" situation for both of us. You get rid of your car, and the cash we get for disposing of it helps support our programs and services. It is easy to make a donation. All the paper work will be done for you; you qualify for a tax deduction, and your vehicle, running or not, is picked up at your home with no charge to you. When a donation is pledged, the Vehicle Donation Processing Center, takes the donor information over the telephone, handles all the documents, vehicle pick up, sale at auction and distribution of proceeds to The Cerebral Palsy Center for the Bay Area Inc.. The Vehicle Donation Processing Center guarantees payment of all expenses in administering the program for Cerebral Palsy Center for the Bay Area Inc.. Every month, net proceeds are split evenly between the Vehicle Donation Processing Center and Cerebral Palsy Center for the Bay Area Inc..
