Donate a Vehicle to 4C's of Alameda County

Community Child Care Coordinating Council of Alameda County exists to support, promote, and provide quality child care.
The Community Child Care Coordinating Council (4C's) of Alameda County is a private non-profit agency that has been providing services to families, children and child care professionals since 1972. 4C's offers a variety of programs and services throughout Alameda County. Donate your unwanted car or other vehicle to 4C’s in California. The funds your donation will generate for the agency will support its valuable work, such as providing child care Resource and Referral services in the cities of Castro Valley, Fremont, Hayward, Newark, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, and Union City. All parents, regardless of income, receive free child care referrals and information about choosing child care. Child care providers receive technical assistance, resources and training. The agency also collects data on child care demand and capacity to help in planning for local child care needs. 4C’s also provides child care payment services for CalWORKS participants and families needing Respite care. In Oakland, 4C’s assists eligible parents with the cost of child care through Child Care Payment Programs. Family child care providers anywhere in Alameda County can participate in 4C’s Child Nutrition Program and receive meal reimbursements and nutrition education. Another great program of 4C’s is the Bright Future Early Learning Center located in the Elihu Harris State Building in Oakland. This program serves children from the age of 3 months to the start of kindergarten and has low child to teacher ratios. Bright Future provides a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment, rich with activities that encourage creativity and provide challenges, and supports interactive, hands-on learning, knowing that children learn best when they have opportunities to use all of their senses to manipulate material and their environment. You’ll feel great knowing your vehicle donation has helped this worthy organization!
