The mission of Sammie's Friends is to provide medical care for the animals at the Nevada County Animal Shelter, making them adoptable, and to support other disadvantaged animals in Nevada County that without help would go to the Shelter or be euthanized.

Sammie's Friends offers a highly specialized program where you can donate a car, truck, trailer, recreational vehicle, boat, etc., as well as lots and real estate. Sammie's Friendsis a 501-C3 nonprofit charitable corporation.

Sammie's Friends has partnered with The Vehicle Donation Processing Center in the operation of our vehicle donation program. The Vehicle Donation Processing Center allows Sammie's Friends to be able to benefit from vehicular donations, and offers this service to you.

When a donation is pledged, the Vehicle Donation Processing Center, Inc., takes the donor information over the telephone, handles all the documents, vehicle pick up, sale at auction and distribution of proceeds to Sammie's Friends. The Vehicle Donation Processing Center guarantees payment of all expenses in administering the program for Sammie's Friends. Every month, net proceeds are split evenly between the Vehicle Donation Processing Center, Inc. and Sammie's Friends.
