iTN Monterey County’s mission is to provide a community-based, community-supported, economically viable and consumer-oriented, quality transportation service for seniors and adults with visual impairment, while making the streets safer and allowing individuals to stay connected to family, friends, community and the local economy.
Redwood Empire Food Bank (REFB) works with a variety of groups in our community to ensure that those at risk of hunger get the food they need to lead healthy and productive lives. REFB distributes donated food as well as purchased food to low-income families, seniors, and individuals. We also provide food to six smaller food banks in the northern coastal counties of Lake, Mendocino, Humboldt, and Del Norte.
West Marin Senior Services was founded in 1976 to provide in-home supportive services to the rural elderly over age 60. Our purpose is to enable older persons to remain independent as long as possible and to live with dignity and self-respect in their own homes. Our program seeks to prevent premature or unnecessary institutionalization.
