Growing Home’s mission is to operate, promote and demonstrate the use of organic agriculture as a vehicle for job training, employment, and community development. We have a vision of a world of healthy people and communities. Everyone deserves to have a good job, and everyone deserves to eat well.
It is the mission of LA Youth Supportive Services, Inc. to do whatever is necessary to insure that the youth and young adults we serve will have all the professional support, guidance, life-skills, and education they need to successfully navigate through the minefield called adolescence and emerge as successful adults.
Our mission is to assist students of Wesley House in their academic goals at San Diego State University by providing a safe place to live and study. We provide a network of support services for students that foster a greater sense of accomplishment, self-esteem, community and belonging; better preparing them to advocate for themselves and to contribute to society.
Established in 1990, Chicago White Sox Charities (CWSC) provides annual financial, in-kind and emotional support to hundreds of Chicago-based organizations, including those leading the fight against cancer or dedicated to improving the lives of Chicago’s youth through education, providing health and wellness initiatives, and those offering services to children and families in crisis. With the generous support of White Sox fans, friends and sponsors, CWSC has donated nearly $20 million, striving to improve the quality of life for Chicagoans of all ages, races and genders.
To preserve and strengthen Jewish identity, heritage, tradition and values through a wide variety of social, cultural, recreational, and educational programs and services. The Center accomplishes these goals in ways that reflect the unique location and role of the Center in the nation’s Capital and the many contributions of the American Jewish community in the United States.
